Happy Fourth Of July New Spring In Your Step

If entertaining guests in your backyard and spending the day with preparations and cooking is not your idea of a relaxing 4th of July, here are some tips that can make the day really calm and enjoyable:

  • Go on a picnic – you might want to prepare some creative finger food for the day, but those preparations are not even remotely as stressful as cooking for a large crowd. Pack your food basket, some blankets and foldable chairs and head for the nearby woods. Don’t forget your insect repellent either – those bugs are better kept at a distance;
  • Explore an easy trail – do some research to find a new walking or biking trail close to where you live and spend the day with some mild and relaxing physical exercise – you will find the day calming for the soul and refreshing for the body;
  • Transform your bathroom into a spa – all you need for this is a bathtub and some spa supplies, such as scented candles, aromatherapy crystals, maybe some of your favorite wine, savored from a beautiful crystal glass;
  • Spend some time admiring the stars – just grab a comfortable chair and sit down to admire the sky and to enjoy the quiet around you.
